Job Title: UAT Test Lead

Location: : New York City - NY(Onsite)

Job Description

• Automation and coding experience in Java.
• Executing automation test cases and working within a test automation framework.
• Extensive knowledge of Selenium, Appium and Cucumber framework.
• Data conditioning knowledge will be an advantage.
• A detailed understanding of common defect management tools.
• Ability to write automated tests.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in mobile testing - iOS and Android handheld device + mobile automation.
• 3+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance.
• Extensive knowledge of SDLC principles and QA methodology.
• 2+ years of TSYS consumer banking/credit card experience or related industry experience.
• Experience using bug, defect and issue tracking tools like Jira, HP ALM / QC, etc.
• Experience with functional test automation tools and technologies (Selenium, Java, Cucumber, JUnit).
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server and DB2.
• Experience with API test automation (Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman).
• Experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Create automation scripts using Selenium and Cucumber framework (BDD).
• Create automation scripts for mobile test automation using Appium.
• Create automation scripts using smart spec (API automation).
• Create test data for product to be tested.
• Create test plans, execute test scripts, and document defects.
• Participate in defect triages.
• Ensure test environment readiness for upcoming testing.
• Support automation of testing and identify external testing dependencies.
• Create short term and long term plan to make testing team more autonomous.
• Work with Technology and Business teams to derive new functional requirements or modify existing ones.
• Review business requirements and create appropriate test strategy, plans and test cases aligned with requirements.
• Review and re-evaluate test strategy/plan based on new information, risks, priorities and schedules.
• Perform end-to-end testing of feature functionality and user experience.
• Coordinate functional changes with automation team and maintain test data for automation scripts to keep automation suite evergreen.
