Responsibilities
- Deploy network equipment at designated field sites in accordance with provided guidelines.
- Verify successful network connectivity pre- and post-installation to ensure operational integrity.
- Document all technical issues, outages, and deployment activities accurately and promptly.
- Communicate identified risks, potential outages, and project updates to relevant stakeholders immediately.
- Manage time effectively to meet installation schedules and project milestones.
- Coordinate with site teams and technical personnel to facilitate smooth deployment processes.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to installation standards during site visits.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and implement solutions to minimize delays.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment configurations and deployment activities.
- Provide ongoing support and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in network equipment deployment, installation, or field support.
- Strong understanding of network connectivity methods such as VSAT, cellular, and other remote solutions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel weekly for approximately 18 months.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting issues and reporting risks.
- Valid work authorization to perform field work in multiple locations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot network issues efficiently.
- Experience working in remote or field environments is preferred.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and schedules.
Publishing Pay Range: $20.00 - $32.00 Hourly
Location Requirements: This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
