Job DetailsThe Estimator is responsible for developing cost estimates on routine small projects under direct supervision of the Preconstruction Manager.
Responsibilities:
Set up bids within Accubid
Reviews construction documents (drawings, specifications) and understands scope of work to bid.
Executes take-offs/counts of construction documents on Livecount.
Obtains pricing/quotes for materials.
Obtains bids from subcontractors.
Coordinates with Preconstruction team and Project Managers during handoff phase of project.
Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
Participates in contract review and negotiations.
Attends all preconstruction meetings as required.
4+ years of electrical (commercial & industrial) field experience
3+ years of electrical estimating experience
