Position Title: Operations Material Handler
Location: Redwood City, CA ( Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Important Note :
For this role, the lifting and moving activities primarily involve handling IT and office inventory—such as laptops, monitors, docking stations, keyboards/mice, cables, and occasional marketing/brand items.
Shipments may arrive as individual boxes or on pallets. The work typically includes:
Receiving deliveries and moving cartons/pallets between floors (via approved equipment such as pallet jacks/carts, as applicable)
Unpacking, staging, and organizing items for put-away
Stocking storage areas and relocating items as needed for deployment or distribution
There is no forklift requirement for this position. The role requires familiarity with using and safely handling manual material-handling equipment, including a manual pallet jack, carts, and racks.
Operations Material Handler Job Requirements / Responsibilities:
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and restock marketing materials and laptops/hardware items.
- Pick, pack, and fulfill shipping requests for marketing and hardware items.
- Replenish stock and perform inventory counting
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, carts etc..) as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.)
- Duration of Assignment: Minimum 6 months to 1 year (Potential for full-time opportunity)
- Location: Redwood City, CA
- Work Environment: Onsite
- Schedule: Full-time
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
