- Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and other negligence claims
- Conduct client intakes, case evaluations, and investigations
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
- Prepare and try cases before judges and juries, as needed
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance
Job DetailsQualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Illinois and in good standing
- 5+ years of experience handling personal injury cases
- Strong litigation experience
