Senior Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a hybrid Senior Data Engineer to join their growing team in Minneapolis, MN. This team is focused on the -ethics, compliance, HR and legal- data aspect of the client and in the process of a huge project. They are focused on migrating from Hadoop to AWS Glue and Snowflake. We are looking for someone who can drive this initiative and be strong in Python, SQL, Snowflake and AWS Athena/Glue as well as have an expertise in data modeling and data structures.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of data engineering experience
* Experience in Iceberg
* Experience with Airflow
* Expert in AWS Glue
* Expert in Python
* Expert in SQL/ETL
* Expert in Data modeling and Data Structures
* Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to act as a lead and work independently

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
