Summary
One of our clients in Cave City, AR is urgently looking for a Data Center Installation Technician.
Duration: 1-2 months
Hourly: $50 - $60 per hour (1099/C2C)
Scope:
- A technically capable hands-on data center engineer/technician who can independently perform installation, cabling, hardware troubleshooting and deployment tasks without needing constant supervision.
- Looking for someone who can execute the deployment correctly and troubleshoot problems encountered during installation.
Must-to-Have:
- Proven hands-on deployment experience with rack-mounted compute and networking hardware.
- Hands-on experience with Rack & stack of servers, server installation/removal, rack mounting and rail installation
- Experience with server/infrastructure cabling, copper and fiber cabling and/or DAC/AOC cable installation
- Good understanding with Cable management, Hardware labeling and reading rack elevations / installation documentation
- Understands PDU/power connections and basic server hardware troubleshooting
- Working in a structured data center environment
Note:
Candidates with GPU/AI/HPC data center deployment experience is a huge plus
