Job Description/ Responsibilities
Build and operate container platforms using Amazon ECS/EKS (EC2 and/or Fargate) including clusters, services, task definitions, autoscaling, IAM roles, and ALB/NLB integrations.
Implement modern deployment strategies such as blue/green and controlled rollouts, with strong rollback mechanisms and environment consistency.
Create and govern Terraform modules/patterns for consistent provisioning (VPC, IAM, ECS, logging/monitoring, and shared services), including remote state, versioning, and promotion across environments
Understand the client process and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (CI) and Spinnaker (CD) to standardize build, test, artifact promotion, and deployments to ECS.
Implement end-to-end observability: APM, metrics, tracing, logging, dashboards, alerts, and SLO-style operational readiness using Dynatrace + Splunk integrated with ECS workloads.
Establish standards for telemetry collection (e.g., sidecar-based collection patterns where applicable) and ensure operations teams can diagnose issues rapidly
