Position Summary

We are looking for a strong Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and operationalize cloud-native infrastructure supporting mission-critical voice applications.

The role focuses on modernizing traditional VM-based voice middleware and backend services into scalable, resilient Kubernetes-based platforms, using modern DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and observability practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based platforms for production workloads
• Modernize and migrate VM-based applications/services to containers and Kubernetes
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Implement infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code
• Develop automation using Python, Bash, or similar scripting
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for production platforms
• Ensure high availability, scalability, resiliency, and performance
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes, infrastructure, deployment, and production issues
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams on modernization initiatives

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Kubernetes
• Docker / Containerization
• Cloud – AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code
• Helm
• CI/CD – Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Strong Linux experience
• Python / Bash / scripting
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch or similar observability tools
• Production Kubernetes administration, troubleshooting, scaling, and automation
• Experience with application modernization / VM-to-Kubernetes migration

Preferred

• Voice / Telecom / VoIP / SIP experience
• Voice middleware or call-processing platforms
• Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, SBC, RTP, or similar technologies
• Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical applications
