Looking for an experienced Absence Management Consultant to help transition Absence Management from an external vendor to an internal team. The consultant will support Workforce Software ACT, UAT, training, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live stabilization.

Ideal Candidate:
Someone who can independently manage the business process, testing, data, training, vendor transition, Go-Live, and issue resolution while working closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and business teams.
- Lead Absence Management functional readiness for Workforce Software ACT.
- Validate workflows, requirements, integrations, payroll, timekeeping, scheduling, and accrual impacts.
- Identify process, data, compliance, and employee-impacting gaps.
- Develop and manage UAT strategy, test cases, test data, defect tracking, and readiness criteria.
- Lead UAT defect triage, retesting, and final readiness assessment.
- Develop role-based training, job aids, process guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Support cutover and Go-Live readiness, including data migration, integrations, access, reports, and operational handoffs.
- Provide Go-Live and Hyper Care support, coordinating issue resolution across HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, IT, and vendors.
- Track production issues, workarounds, risks, stabilization metrics, and support transition.
- Establish future-state processes, RACI, operating model, and ongoing ACT support ownership.
Key Deliverables: UAT plan/scripts, defect tracker, training materials, process maps, cutover checklist, Go-Live readiness assessment, Hyper Care model, known-issues log, and knowledge-transfer plan.
