Senior Machinist

Cooling performance limits high-power computing, semi-conductor fab, cell networks, photonics, power electronics, and most of our digital world. Patented Stack Forging process enables complex micro-geometries, resulting in single-piece, leak-tight parts that deliver superior cooling performance, lower pressure drops, and exceptional reliability. .

About the role

As a Senior Machinist you will be responsible for the programming and operation of in-house CNC shop. This person will provide feedback to the Solutions Delivery and Production teams regarding part feasibility, and machinability while finding creative and scalable solutions to support Stack Forging process. This is a critical role in production operation, influencing the manufacturing process of nearly every part delivered.

This role requires 5 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

*Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needs.

  • Engage with Technical Sales and Solutions Engineering in feasibility discussions, offering feedback to facilitate the manufacturing of customer parts.

  • Program and cut parts, purchase materials and tooling. (CAMWorks experience strongly preferred)

  • Identify and implement novel fixturing solutions for parts that will be difficult to indicate repeatably

  • Cooperatively work with the Solutions Delivery, Production, and Quality Teams to correctly dimension drawings and create datums that will match manufacturing workflows

  • Generate accurate forecasting and scheduling of production work

  • Stay digitally organized, updating work statuses, best practices for file storage and traceability

What you ll bring

  • 5-7+ years of CNC Programming and Machining experience including tooling selection and setup

  • Experience in setup and machining of castings or other parts where each piece of starting material is slightly different

  • Experience in setup and machining of parts that have been 3D printed

  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments to verify product quality

  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a machining environment

  • Experience with the development and execution of programming, processing, operational/set-up sheets, and work instructions as related to the manufacturing of orders utilizing our ISO procedures

  • Experience developing manufacturing plans for high-volume production

SALARY RANGE: $54,000 - $81,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
