Description

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing the user experience for our online store, ensuring seamless navigation and checkout processes. This position requires expertise in front-end development and a strong understanding of Shopify's platform capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Optimize the checkout process to enhance usability and streamline customer experience.

Implement functionality allowing users to toggle between languages, ensuring accessibility for diverse audiences.

Configure the online store to include a local delivery option prominently in the checkout process.

Integrate and manage "Herbie Bucks" as a payment option during checkout.

Display accurate inventory counts on product listings to improve transparency.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with translation toggle and adaptation apps.

Customize front-end elements using React.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Collaborate with the team to identify and address technical challenges.

Ensure compatibility and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

Requirements

Proficiency in Shopify development and customization.
Strong skills in React.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Experience working with front-end frameworks to create responsive designs.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Familiarity with integrating third-party tools and apps within Shopify.
Excellent attention to detail and focus on user experience.
Capability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
