SAP PI/PO Senior ERP Specialist

Job Summary

The Senior ERP Specialist (SAP Integration PI/PO) will be responsible for managing and overseeing the integration of the SAP landscape with a focus on Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO). The role involves collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration and effective communication between various SAP modules. (1.) Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement sap integration solutions using pi/po tools.

2. Monitor and maintain the sap pi/po interfaces to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and provide technical expertise.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sap integration in a timely manner.

5. Conduct testing and performance tuning of sap pi/po interfaces.

6. Stay updated on latest sap technologies and recommend best practices for integration.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sap integration technologies such as process integration (pi) and process orchestration (po).

2. Strong understanding of sap modules and their integration touchpoints.

3. Experience in designing and implementing sap pi/po solutions.

4. Knowledge of sap technologies like idoc, rfc, proxy, soap, and rest.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Good communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross functional teams.

Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate Process Integration with SAP NetWeaver (PI 7.4) (If any)

Integration (PI/PO and ABAP) Role – Job Description

Resource will be part of the Integration team working on PI/PO and ABAP side of integrations for Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management, Finance.

Design, build, configure, and support SAP PI/PO interfaces for SAP S/4HANA. SAP ECC and connected systems

Work on end-to-end SAP and non-SAP integrations

Develop interfaces using ABAP proxies, IDOCs, oData

Handle interface configuration, message mapping, routing, communication channels, and monitoring

Enhance Standard Enterprise services

Collaborate with the Functional and Business teams to understand requirements and issues and provide solutions

Participate in code review sessions with other team members

Prepare interface design and technical documentation

Skill set required

At least 7+ years’ experience in developing integrations using PI/PO and S/4, specifically in the following areas but not limited to:

Object Oriented ABAP

IDOC development

Enhancement (User-Exists, BADIs)

Well versed with FEH

Performance tuning, Code Review

Experience developing interfaces using SAP PI/PO 7.4, 7.5

Hands-on experience with common adapters (SFTP, JDBC, JMS, REST, SOAP, oDATA, IDOC)

Thorough knowledge of PI architecture

The consultant is expected to leverage ABAP and PI solutions tied to integrations using the above methods/technologies.
