Android Developer

Job Description:

• 6+ years of strong object-oriented programming experience: Kotlin, Java or similar
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Excellent technical knowledge of Android mobile application development with a solid understanding of the framework components and their life cycles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience in software development domain and principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployment architecture
• Experience with mobile test-driven development using Espresso, Roboelectric, Appium or similar technologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing mobile application frameworks and/or SDK solutions for Identity, Payments, and analytics
• Experience working with JetPack Compose
• Experience with AI, ML, and GenAI
• Experience with web technologies (NodeJS, JSON, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3)
• Shipped an app to the Google Play Store
• Experience with Scrum or similar agile development methodology.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely to be $115,000 to $125,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
