Electrical Engineer - V&V (Onsite)

Main Sail seeks Electrical Engineers with Verification and Validation (V&V) experience to support nuclear manufacturing operations at our client s facility. The team will assist verification and validation activities for a new U-metal process system, ensuring electrical systems meet design requirements, operational readiness standards, and regulatory compliance expectations within a production environment. Positions include two Senior Electrical Engineers and two Junior Electrical Engineers supporting an established V&V team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform verification and validation activities for new or modified nuclear process systems.
- Evaluate electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation for compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.
- Execute and support system test procedures and validation protocols.
- Document test results, identify non-conformances, and support corrective actions.
- Assist system acceptance and readiness activities within a production environment.
- Support coordination with engineering, operations, and quality organizations during V&V execution.
Required Skills:
- Senior Electrical Engineer: Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience with demonstrated V&V experience preferred.
- Junior Electrical Engineer: Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience with demonstrated V&V experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical system design, controls, and instrumentation.
- Experience documenting engineering results and supporting system acceptance activities.
- Active DOE L or Q clearance required. Equivalent active DoD clearance accepted.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
