Altus Consulting is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team and drive data-driven decision making for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis to extract insights from large datasets and solve complex business problems.
Responsibilities:- Collect, clean, and prepare data for analysis.
- Develop and implement machine learning models for various tasks (e.g., classification, prediction, recommendation).
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with engineers and other data professionals to build and deploy data-driven solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science techniques and technologies.
Preferred Skills:- Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic Qualifications:- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance is required.
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data science or a related role.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques.
