Summary

Position Summary

The HR Generalist Warehouse Operations will support daily HR functions in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workplace safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a productive, compliant, and employee-friendly work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries and employee concerns
Provide performance management support including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions
Investigate and resolve employee relations issues fairly and consistently
Manage HR inbox and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner
Handle full-cycle recruitment for warehouse and operational staff
Manage temporary staffing, including timecard reconciliation and invoicing
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Support performance review cycles and development planning
Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation processes
Review and approve timecards for bi-weekly payroll processing
Collaborate with management to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention
Support sustainability and compliance programs (GOTS, GRS, GRC)
Oversee OSHA compliance including OSHA 300 logs, safety protocols, and reporting
Coordinate workplace safety training, inspections, and incident documentation
Report workplace incidents and liaise with insurance providers

Required Qualifications

2 4 years of HR experience (warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution preferred)
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or related field
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
