job summary:
We are seeking a skilled mid-level Network Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to support enterprise network operations. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong expertise in routing & switching and network security, and working knowledge of wireless technologies.
The ideal candidate is not entry-level and can independently troubleshoot, design, and implement network solutions with minimal ramp-up time.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements and develop network design specifications.
- Design, implement, and support network infrastructure, including upgrades and enhancements.
- Configure and manage network routing and switching environments.
- Support and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls and secure access controls.
- Monitor network performance and adjust capacity to meet business demands.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
- Coordinate network operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., architects, business stakeholders) to align network solutions with organizational needs.
- Develop and implement solutions for network-related problems with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in network engineering (Level 3 preferred)
- Strong routing and switching experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience with network security engineering concepts and tools
- Wireless networking knowledge is a plus
- Experience with the following technologies:
o Cisco and Extreme Networks
o Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls
o Aruba wireless solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
