Job Brief:
The Opportunity
The Learning Systems Administrator supports the effective operation of the Learning Management System (LMS) by maintaining system expertise, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting issues. The role interfaces directly with stakeholders and system users and produces automated or customized reports to support learning initiatives. Additionally, the LMS Administrator curates and publishes training content and recommends system and process improvements as needed.
Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life
- Attain general understanding of LMS processes and governance to offer general and technical support of the Learning Management System (LMS), and maintain proficiency; this includes general programs and processes, systems, and tools that support said delivery
- Document learning processes and procedures
- Create, generate, customize, and automate various reports in the Learning Management System on various learning programs initiatives
- Communicate and interface directly with stakeholders and system users, both internally and externally
- Use the ServiceNow ticketing system to monitor and resolve user requests and issues, ensuring clear documentation and timely response within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
- Research, identify, and curate training content for ad hoc self?paced learning requests by locating appropriate resources, providing review access to requestors, and publishing finalized content once approved.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to learning systems and recommend solutions or enhancements to the Learning Systems team for evaluation and implementation.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred.
- Three (3) years of process and technical administrative support required. Two (2) years of Learning System Management experience required.

- Excellent active listening skills and ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Ability to handle multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with credit union and Velera staff
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail required
- Ability to exercise initiative, discretion, and independent judgment in making decisions, and interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, credit unions, and vendors
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications; ability to utilize complex software applications and technical databases

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
