Technician III, Infrastructure and Clean Utilities

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Technician III, Infrastructure and Clean Utilities for a contract position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Athens, GA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role performs routine and complex maintenance tasks on Infrastructure and Clean Utilities including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, high purity water systems, clean steam, cold storage, fire systems, and compressed air. The technician will conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely, all while complying with regulatory standards and GXP guidelines.

Schedule:

• Shift/Schedule: 5x8h - Tuesday to Saturday - 2nd Shift (4pm to 12:30am)
• Onboarding Process: First week is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm; next seven weeks are Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm, before moving to the regular schedule

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and perform routine and complex maintenance activities or operate and monitor equipment with the ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues
• Interpret and review utility, process system/equipment, plumbing, ductwork plans, architectural, and HVAC P&IDs
• Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for equipment/systems
• Complete all work in accordance with CFRs, GXPs, SOPs, job plans, and corporate policies
• Complete operational log paperwork, daily log files, and work order documentation with appropriate detail and accurate information
• Perform various "Housekeeping" activities, (i.e. keeping work areas clean, cleaning of equipment etc)
• Work collaboratively as a member of a team and actively engage team members to seek and provide assistance
• Ensure the reliability and efficiency of clean utility systems, including water purification, clean steam, and compressed air systems
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruption to facility operations
• Work closely with other maintenance staff, engineers, and contractors to complete projects and repairs efficiently

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Facilities Maintenance Technical Degree and/or HVAC/R Maintenance Technical degree
• 5+ years of experience (combination of education, training, and experience) in two or more of the following fields: Electrician, HVAC, Mechanics, Fire Systems, Cold Storage, Water Systems
• Electricity, plumbing, and mechanical skills
• HVAC experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
• Demonstrated problem-solving/decision-making skills
• Agile learner with demonstrated ability to seek necessary resources and/or skills to advance technical ability
• Possesses basic computer skills required for business communication and documentation of maintenance activities

Desired skills:

• SAP-PM basic knowledge
• Cold storage experience

Pay rate: up to $32.85 per hour
