This role is crucial for designing and implementing AI agents, large language model (LLM) applications, retrieval solutions, and governance controls using Databricks and approved enterprise AI platforms.

Ideal Candidate Should Have

Python and Databricks experience

Expertise in large language models (LLM)

Experience with AI governance

Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

Understanding of multi-agent architectures

Role Overview

The AI Engineer will work across data engineering, software development, AI governance, and business process optimization. The role involves developing expertise in generative AI, agentic architectures, and responsible AI practices within a regulated financial services environment. The engineer will contribute to the design and implementation of AI-powered applications and ensure they meet business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop AI-powered applications, copilots, and agent-based solutions using Python and Databricks

Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions and workflow automations

Maintain integrations between AI solutions and enterprise systems

Participate in prompt engineering and agent orchestration

Support model evaluation, monitoring, and optimization

Troubleshoot AI application issues and contribute to performance tuning

Ensure AI solutions meet business, regulatory, and governance requirements
