We are seeking a strategic and technical Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our Life Reinsurance platforms. In this role, you will be the bridge between business stakeholders (Finance, Underwriting) and technical teams, ensuring that our reinsurance products are accurately modeled and compliant with global accounting standards. You will specifically own the product vision for our Oracle Insurance Accounting Analyzer (IAA) implementation, driving data-centric insights and regulatory reporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Backlog Management: Define, prioritize, and maintain a transparent product backlog for Life Reinsurance features, focusing on maximizing business value.
• Oracle IAA Ownership: Lead the functional configuration of  to support IFRS 17 and LDTI, including Contractual Service Margin (CSM) calculations and net liability assessments.
• Business Transformation: Partner with Finance teams to translate complex reinsurance treaty terms into actionable technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Data Integrity: Oversee data ingestion and mapping from source systems (like Oracle Insurance Policy Administration - OIPA) into IAA, ensuring high-quality financial data for reporting.
• Agile Leadership: Lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product demos, to ensure timely delivery of product increments.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership to align product roadmaps with corporate strategic goals and regulatory mandates.

Required Skills & Experience

• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Life Reinsurance products, including proportional/non-proportional treaties, risk transfer, and data pipelines.
• Oracle IAA Proficiency: Hands-on experience with , specifically in sub-ledger accounting and disclosure requirements.
• Agile Methodology: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Lead in an Agile environment.
• Analytical Depth: Ability to analyze complex financial datasets and perform gap analysis between "as-is" and "to-be" reporting states.
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe POPM is highly desirable.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant industry designations (e.g., FLMI, ARA) preferred.
