Role Overview
Looking for a strong Ansible Automation Platform Engineer with solid experience in automation engineering and enterprise infrastructure environments. The candidate will be responsible for building and enhancing automation platforms while supporting enterprise-scale automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Part of a dynamic team building and enhancing an Ansible Automation Platform for the Enterprise
Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities
Assist in establishing input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and subsystem integration
Develop controls for automation platforms with focus on shared automation content across enterprise tools
Implement SDLC chain for managing automation content
Participate in design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities including technical support and systems programming
Support data center capabilities and enterprise automation initiatives
Influence and guide teams related to special initiatives or operational activities
Collaborate across teams to ensure automation solutions align with enterprise standards and architecture
Primary Skill: Ansible Automation Platform
Secondary Skill: Unix/Linux Administration & Automation Scripting
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration and scripting (YAML, XML, Python, Perl, Shell)
5+ years of experience with Ansible Automation Platform
5+ years of experience with TrueSight Server Orchestrator
Strong experience working in enterprise automation environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to technical teams and leadership
Ability to work with multiple teams to gather requirements and support automation initiatives
Strong analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Experience working in fast-paced, complex enterprise environments
