Summary

Position Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Analyst to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users in a professional services environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals, delivering exceptional customer service while resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
  • Manage and prioritize support requests through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Perform ticket triage, issue categorization, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Administer user accounts within Active Directory, including:
    • Adding and removing users
    • User provisioning and deprovisioning
    • Password resets and account unlocks
    • Security group management
    • Access and permission assignments
  • Configure and deploy workstations, software applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Deliver white-glove customer service to attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of IT support experience in a Help Desk, Desktop Support, PC Technician, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience working within a ticketing system and managing support queues.
  • Strong experience with Active Directory administration, including user management, permissions, and group administration.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and standard enterprise software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience supporting users in a professional services, legal, or highly client-facing environment is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting law firms, attorneys, paralegals, or legal staff.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Knowledge of workstation imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management tools.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
