IT Business Analyst

We are seeking a high-caliber IT Business Analyst to provide crucial technological analysis and system software support for an essential public service program.

Position Details

• Location: 500 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Mostly remote; occasional on-site sessions for training, mentorship, and key meetings). Candidate must currently reside in Indiana.
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week, EST) with flexible start/end times around core hours of 9:00 AM 3:00 PM.
• Interview Process: Webcam only (Must remain on camera for the duration).

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Formulate systems scope and objectives through rigorous research, translating complex business requests into actionable IT requirements.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the central link between software development, quality assurance, systems support, and project management teams.
• Process Improvement: Identify performance gaps, map out future-state workflows, and build technical solutions while managing stakeholder expectations.

Core Skills & Qualifications

Required (5+ Years of Experience)

• BA Artifacts: Extensive experience creating BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, and Traceability Matrices.
• Workflow Design: Strong background in business process modeling using Visio, BPMN, or similar tools.
• SDLC Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge of full lifecycle management across Agile and Waterfall environments using Jira.
• Financial Tech Depth: Proven ability to translate complex financial workflows into scalable IT configurations and requirements.
• Data & Integration: Strong data analysis skills using SQL, advanced Excel, or Power BI, alongside a firm grasp of integration concepts (APIs, REST/SOAP).
• Enterprise Software: Direct experience working with Salesforce, ERP systems, or equivalent enterprise platforms.
• Testing Support: Hands-on experience supporting UAT execution, test case development, and defect tracking.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred & Desired (Big Pluses)

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or Business Analyst.
• Professional BA certifications (CBAP / PMI-PBA).
• Systems engineering credentials (CSEP).
• Prior experience working with public sector human services or case management platforms.

Pre-Screening Requirements

• Must pass a federal Fingerprint background check and complete standard Security Training upon hire.
• Must be able to pick up company equipment in person at the Indianapolis work site.
