Company Overview
This company is a growing mortgage and title insurance organization expanding its Title Insurance division. This is a net-new role supporting a mission-critical title production environment that directly impacts closing operations and business performance.
Role Summary
The Title Production System Administrator is responsible for administering and supporting the Title Production System and its associated applications. This individual ensures system reliability, security, performance, and availability while partnering closely with title, escrow, IT, and vendor teams.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role combining systems administration, production support, workflow optimization, and business process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support the Title Production System and related applications
- Configure and maintain user access, security roles, and audit permissions in compliance with ALTA and data privacy standards
- Provide primary application support to title and escrow staff, including:
- Document and template configuration
- Document generation troubleshooting
- Production issue resolution
- Design and implement workflow and business process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability; reduce downtime and optimize stability
- Support disaster recovery planning and ensure updates/patches are tested and deployed securely
- Partner with vendors on advanced troubleshooting, upgrades, and patch testing
- Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and reporting
- Develop and deliver training materials for business users
- Support software upgrades, implementations, and technical initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, operations, vendors, and leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or 3-5+ years of relevant systems/application administration experience
- Direct experience in a Title Insurance or real estate production environment (strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience supporting title production platforms such as:
- Qualia
- RamQuest
- ResWare
- SoftPro
- AtClose
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server environments
- Active Directory (AD)
- SQL Server (administration and troubleshooting)
- Experience managing document-intensive, secure, production applications
- Comfort working onsite and being the primary technical owner of a critical system
Nice to Have
- Experience with ALTA best practices and compliance standards
- Vendor management and upgrade coordination experience
- Background in workflow design or operational process optimization
- Ability to act as a bridge between business operations and IT teams
