Position OverviewQinetiQ US is looking to hire a Software Developer to support the development of systems and tools for electro-optical capabilities at the C5ISR Center customer site at Fort Belvoir, VA.
This position is a rare opportunity to lead a hands-on modernization effort and shape the future of secure R&D platforms.
Responsibilities- Working with Optical Scientists to design and develop python frameworks and programs to help with testing and evaluation
- Support modernization of legacy systems
- Support development of testing capabilities for new COTS and GOTS equipment
Required Qualifications- BS degree in an engineering discipline or Computer Science and 4+ years of experience with Agile (Jira), Git version control, technical documentation, and Wikis.
- Proficiency in Python
- Live in the National Capital Region and work at the customer site on Fort Belvoir, VA.
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher level clearance #qinetiqclearedjob
Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity in NI LabVIEW
- Familiarity with creating, maintaining python modules and libraries
