Compliance Analyst | Contract | Metro Atlanta | Onsite Our client, a large public-sector organization in Metro Atlanta, is seeking a
Compliance Analyst to support its Strategy & Technology department, which provides systems and operational support across the district, including dedicated support for multiple charter schools.
This role will work closely with the Director of Charter Schools to ensure compliance with academic, operational, and financial standards. This is a
long-term contract opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can evaluate processes, validate and present data, support audits and compliance reviews, and produce clear, actionable reporting for leadership.
Key Responsibilities - Partner closely with the Director of Charter Schools and Strategy & Technology leadership to support compliance across charter school operations
- Monitor adherence to educational standards, district policies, and regulatory requirements applicable to charter environments
- Validate data integrity and appropriate system usage across student information systems and other district platforms
- Support compliance audits, program reviews, and required compliance reporting
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in processes, controls, and documentation
- Develop and maintain compliance tracking tools, dashboards, and written reports
- Prepare summaries, trends, and recommendations for leadership and oversight stakeholders
- Track remediation and corrective action plans and verify resolution of identified issues
- Collaborate with FCS school administrators, FCS charter school administrators, FCS IT teams, Charter School IT teams, and operational staff to reinforce standards and controls
Required Qualifications - Experience in compliance, audit support, program monitoring, or process governance
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to create clean and modern visuals
- Ability to turn rough ideas, notes or exxamples into superb data visualizations
- Advance proficiency with the full Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and reporting tools; experience with dashboards
- Proficiency with BI tools is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to leadership
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across stakeholders and sites
Oral Interview/Demonstration The client requires a comprehensive oral interview and demonstration to thoroughly assess the candidate's qualifications. As part of this process, the candidate will be expected to present a professional portfolio that includes representative examples of data visualizations and executive-level written communications. In addition, candidates may be asked to complete a problem-solving exercise designed to further assess analytical, communication, and practical application skills.
Preferred Experience - Experience supporting K-12 education, charter schools, or public-sector organizations
- Familiarity with education compliance frameworks, student data governance, and accountability standards
- Exposure to IT governance, data privacy (FERPA), or system access controls
- Experience supporting internal or external audits and regulatory reporting
