Volt is immediately hiring
multiple Jr. Computer Server Repair Techs in
Fremont, CA. As a Jr. Computer Server Repair Tech, you will:
- Perform basic mechanical rework, parts replacement, and visual inspection
- Perform component replacements, part swaps and re-assembly of server parts
- Follow standard repair flow and ensure correct material usafe and documentation
- Handle defective parts and prepare for return to vendor or scrap as required
- Conduct basic visual checks and labeling verification after repair
- Assemble and rework parts on computer servers according to specs
These are full-time temp to hire opportunities.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
1st shift 8am - 5pm
2nd shift 4pm - 1:30pm
The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic understanding of PC / server hardware parts (memory, HDD, fans, power supplies etc)
- Follow work instructions step by step
- Electro-mechancial assembly and/or rework skills
- Heavy lifting may be required at time - must be able to lift 50 lbs or higher
- Able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour for 1 st shift, $24.00 per hour for 2 nd shift
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
