Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager to oversee a team of experienced Data Science, Analytics, AI professionals and team leaders. This role operates at the intersection of business, data, and technology, ensuring that AI initiatives are prioritized, executed, and scaled to deliver measurable business value while managing risk and fostering trust across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead AI Program Delivery: Drive end-to-end execution of AI initiatives, from discovery and proof-of-concept through pilot and enterprise-scale deployment.
  • Program Governance: Establish and manage timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Align efforts across business, technology, and operations teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Business Case Development: Create clear and compelling business cases, including benefits, costs, and success metrics; monitor and report on value realization post-launch.
  • Responsible AI Compliance: Partner with Security, Privacy, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure all GenAI use cases adhere to ethical AI principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Policy & Standards Implementation: Define and enforce guardrails, policies, and standards for GenAI tools, data usage, model selection, and access control.
  • Risk & Performance Monitoring: Support ongoing risk assessments, model monitoring, and incident management for AI deployments.
  • KPI Tracking & Reporting: Define and monitor key performance indicators (e.g., value delivered, adoption rates, risk posture, cycle time) and provide executive-ready updates on progress, risks, and decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate ROI and performance of GenAI initiatives; recommend scaling, pivoting, or sunsetting projects as needed.
  • Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders on GenAI opportunities, trade-offs, and strategic implications.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including technology providers, consultancies, and system integrators.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 7+ years total experience in Data Analytics or AI.
  • 3+ years experience with either one from the following programs: establishing or leading enterprise AI/GenAI programs, or AI Centers of Excellence.
  • 2+ years experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • 1+ year experience with GenAI tooling (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Vertex, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications (assets)

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science / Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer science (nice to have)
  • Strong background in data science, analytics, and AI technologies, with a track record of delivering business impact through advanced analytics and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs, influence senior stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
  • Expertise in risk management, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present executive-level updates and strategic recommendations.

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.

The annual salary for this position is between $143,250 - $200,750. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
