They are Impact Makers at Schneider Electric! As an Application Engineer, a typical day for you might include: - Expertise in Tridium Niagara, Schneider Electric Ecostruxure Building operation system, Siemens Building automation system or Johnson Controls systems.
- Experience providing high quality programming per specifications, standards, budgets, and schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, contractors, engineers, and fellow team members
- Working as part of a team that is responsible for the programming, start-up, troubleshooting and commissioning of DDC building automation systems.
- Configuring, programming, and customizing control systems to meet project-specific needs.
- Creation of software programs and front-end graphics.
- Commissioning on projects.
- Analyzing problems and resolving issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
- Performing system diagnostics and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Coordinating customer training and complete closeout documents.
- Providing technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.
