Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join the Platform Systems & Services team, which supports core enterprise systems across Xumo Enterprise and Xumo Play. This role will primarily focus on designing and enhancing our Content Management System (CMS) a critical internal platform used by Content Acquisition, Content Operations, Editorial, and Marketing teams.

The ideal candidate is a user-centered designer who excels at designing intuitive, scalable enterprise tools and enjoys collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver impactful, high-quality experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to UX strategy and UI design for internal web-based applications, with a primary focus on the Content Management System (CMS).

• Design end-to-end user experiences by creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to understand requirements, define use cases, and translate business needs into effective design solutions.

• Ensure a cohesive design language and consistent user experience across the product portfolio.

• Conduct and support user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements based on feedback.

• Develop interaction and functional specifications to support development and implementation.

• Evaluate competitive products and recommend design solutions that differentiate and elevate the platform.

• Support the expansion and enhancement of digital delivery channels and internal tooling.

• Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices.

• Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Interactive Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design or Product Design.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Interaction Design

  • Visual/UI Design

  • Information Architecture

  • User Experience Research

  • Prototyping and UX best practices

• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and apply human-centered design thinking to complex problem spaces.

• Proficiency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, LucidChart, Overflow.io.

• Experience designing modern web applications and collaborating with front-end engineering teams.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in Media & Entertainment or technology-focused organizations.

• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) or Asset Management platforms.

• Familiarity with Jira or similar product management tools.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Working knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as React / ReactJS.
