Responsibilities The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) Program Office is leading the next generation of voice and data communication technologies for the National Airspace System (NAS). BNATCS will transform the way air traffic control (ATC) communications are managed across the U.S., integrating modern IP-based voice switching, data interoperability, and secure, low-latency digital transmission to support both current and future NAS operations.
