Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our dynamic team within the Enterprise Data & Analytics Services (EDAS) organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise data project delivery, cross-team coordination, and Jira/Confluence-based execution and a proven ability to drive on-time delivery across multiple workstreams while maintaining clear visibility into risks, dependencies, readiness, and implementation progress.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, RAID logs, action-item trackers, and documentation.
- Drive execution across concurrent projects while tracking deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones.
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, constraints, and inter-team dependencies proactively.
- Partner with business and technology project managers to align EDAS deliverables and implementation activities with broader program objectives.
- Facilitate implementation planning, readiness reviews, checkpoints, and status meetings.
- Serve as a central coordination point across EDAS teams and partner organizations, consolidating status, risks, issues, and decisions into an integrated view.
- Prepare and deliver concise, fact-based project updates, dashboards, scorecards, and governance materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Project Management, Analytics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in Project Management, Technology Delivery, PMO, or related roles within large enterprises.
- Banking or Financial Services experience supporting technology, data, analytics, governance, regulatory, risk, or modernization initiatives.
- Experience leading data-related projects across Data Warehousing, Integration/ETL, Governance, Management, Analytics, Reporting, Regulatory Data, or Data Modernization.
- Proven coordination of cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups in matrixed environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence, including boards, dashboards, delivery metrics, and documentation workflows.
- Ability to create project plans, dashboards, RAID logs, executive reporting, and maintain project documentation.
- Familiarity with Kanban, Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
- Understanding of Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, and Critical Data Elements.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- PMP certification preferred. Scrum Master certification beneficial.
- Experience supporting Enterprise Data & Analytics organizations.
- Experience with Alation, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, or similar data platforms.
- Background in Banking or Financial Services, with familiarity in lending, collateral management, and regulatory reporting.
