Job Description

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading complex enterprise technology initiatives, stakeholder management, and budget oversight and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget while coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large and complex projects and multiple concurrent initiatives, including program-level efforts.


• Own project planning, schedules, dependencies, resourcing, and execution with budget responsibility up to $5M.


• Facilitate meetings, manage action items, status reporting, and risk and issue management to drive completion.


• Engage senior technical resources to solicit input and resolve technology challenges.


• Coordinate across internal stakeholders and external consulting partners for year-end technology initiatives.


• Work with institutional committees and oversight bodies to align priorities and secure approvals.


• Support strategic, multi-year initiatives with comprehensive communication and management plans.


• Serve as subject matter expert on project management practices, methods, and standards.


• Promote a Project Focused Culture within the IT organization.


• Communicate complex technical information clearly to leadership and end users.


• Ensure adherence to enterprise methodologies, governance, and budget guidelines.


• Perform additional job-related functions as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven leadership of large, complex IT projects with cross-functional and vendor teams.


• Expertise in project planning, scheduling, risk/issue management, and executive reporting.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to drive accountability.


• Hands-on, execution-focused approach with comfort navigating complex environments.


• Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of project management experience with PMI Process Groups and Knowledge Areas, or Master's Degree and 7+ years of related experience.


• PMP or comparable project management certification from a nationally recognized body, or ability to obtain within 3 years of hire.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle and UKG environments and system integrations.


• Healthcare industry experience.


• Proficiency with Smartsheet for planning and reporting.


• Background operating within program or portfolio structures.
