Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java EE/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, ReactJS, and modern front-end technologies.
Architect and implement microservices, REST and SOAP APIs, API versioning, service integration, API Gateway configurations, and secure distributed application components.
Develop reusable ReactJS components and front-end libraries, translate UI designs and wireframes into functional interfaces, and optimize application performance across browsers and devices.
Design and integrate relational and non-relational databases, implement AWS cloud services, establish coding standards and design practices, and collaborate with stakeholders and Agile development teams to deliver quality solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Experience developing enterprise web applications using Java EE/J2EE and ReactJS.
Experience designing and implementing microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise application integrations.
Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, REST, SOAP, SOA, API security, and relational and non-relational databases.
Experience developing responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ReactJS ecosystem technologies.
Technical Skills:
Java EE/J2EE, ReactJS, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, AWS, Apigee API Gateway, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Redux/Next.js
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, and data-processing components supporting business operations.
Experience translating business requirements and stakeholder needs into technical specifications, application functionality, and scalable full-stack solutions.
Experience supporting distributed enterprise application environments involving service integration, API-based communication, cloud services, and interconnected business systems.
Experience delivering enterprise software solutions through Agile development practices, including technical design, coding standards, testing, performance optimization, and production readiness.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Next.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, Flux, and modern front-end development frameworks and libraries.
Experience with AWS Lambda, SES, SNS, S3, CloudWatch, and CloudFront, along with Apigee or similar API management platforms.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, browser-based debugging, performance testing, and enterprise application architecture.
