Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Review business processes and requirements, conduct impact and gap analysis, and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
Develop and document technical designs and build web-based applications, APIs, Azure Functions, and data-processing solutions using approved technologies and development practices.
Optimize application and data pipeline performance, troubleshoot technical issues, independently resolve defects, and implement unit testing and code review best practices.
Provide technical leadership by assessing risks, coordinating development activities, collaborating with analysts and business stakeholders, and communicating technical solutions and project updates.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
6+ years of programming experience.
Experience developing full-stack web applications using ReactJS, .NET, C#, or Python.
Experience building and deploying APIs, Azure Functions, and ETL pipelines using Azure Databricks.
Experience working with relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, database design, and source code management.
Technical Skills:
ReactJS, .NET Framework, C#, Python, Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Microsoft SQL, Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, Git
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, and data-processing components supporting business operations.
Experience translating business processes, stakeholder needs, and data requirements into functional specifications, technical designs, and scalable application solutions.
Experience developing and supporting enterprise data integration and ETL processes involving multiple source systems, relational databases, APIs, and business applications.
Experience providing technical leadership across application development, system integration, performance optimization, defect resolution, and Agile delivery initiatives.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of WCF services, software design patterns, architectural patterns, Azure DevOps, Scrum, and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, web services, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JSP pages, and console applications.
Experience with Pentaho for data movement and transformation involving SAP, Excel, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and SQL databases; familiarity with test automation is also preferred.
