Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Onsite as required
Onsite Requirement: Candidate must currently reside in North Carolina and be available to report onsite on the first day to collect equipment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a strong Business Analyst to support multiple active and upcoming technology project initiatives. The resource will work across various projects, with a primary focus on business analysis, requirements management, test planning/execution, procurement requirements gathering, vendor coordination, and project support.

Key Responsibilities

Manage business analysis activities and projects with defined deliverables and solutions.
Identify and document business processes, issues, value levers, metrics, and organizational capabilities.
Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret business and project data.
Analyze and document as-is business capabilities and processes.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate sessions to gather and document business requirements.
Conduct industry, competitive, and State-level analyses, including strategic, financial, and operational analysis.
Support business case development and market research/benchmarking activities.
Lead or support test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and testing coordination.
Support system go-live activities, including conversion, support desk, site support, training delivery, and logistics.
Support change management and communications activities.
Perform PMO-related activities, including time tracking, work-plan updates, status reporting, service metric reporting, and project administration.
Facilitate procurement-related requirements gathering and support development of procurement specifications.
Coordinate with vendors and project stakeholders to monitor deliverables and ensure requirements are met.

Required Skills

5+ years of Business Analyst experience
5+ years of Requirements Management experience
5+ years of Test Planning and Test Execution Management experience
Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements.
Strong stakeholder interview and facilitation skills.
Experience with business process analysis and documentation.
Experience supporting technology projects through implementation and go-live.
Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Highly Desired

5+ years of experience leading facilitation for Procurement Specification Development
IIBA CBAP or PMP-PBA certification
Experience with PMO/project administration activities.
Experience supporting vendor management and delivery oversight.
Experience with change management and stakeholder communications.

Candidate Requirements

Must currently live in North Carolina.
Must be able to report onsite on the first day to collect equipment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
