Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a Service Desk contractor to provide Level 1.5 to Level 2 technical support. This role involves extensive troubleshooting and requires an individual who can integrate into our team to provide exemplary service. The selected candidate will handle a variety of responsibilities, from user support and system administration to hardware procurement, as part of a dynamic and expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1-2 service desk support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
- Support O365, Exchange, and the full Microsoft Suite.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and incident management.
- Participate in daily team meetings to review tasks and priorities.
- Assist users with application setup, logins, and troubleshooting.
- Manage hardware and equipment ordering during periods of low call volume.
- Escalate tickets appropriately when necessary.
- Support onboarding, installation, and troubleshooting processes for new users.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a Service Desk role.
Technical Skills:- Active Directory (on-prem and cloud).
- O365 and Exchange administration.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to determine when to escalate issues.
- Experience with mapping network drives and adding printers via IP address.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hardware procurement from vendors.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Knowledge of SCCM for system management.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Customer service experience in a high-volume call environment
