Role Overview

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the SuccessFactors Talent Management suite. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and implementation experience across Performance & Goals (PM/GM), Succession Planning (SP), Career Development Planning (CDP), and Compensation, with the ability to lead client discussions, drive design decisions, and coordinate activities across functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Talent Management solutions, with primary responsibility for Performance & Goals, Succession Planning, Career Development Planning, and Compensation.
Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, validate business processes, identify gaps, and define future-state Talent Management processes.
Provide functional leadership and subject matter expertise, translating business requirements into scalable SuccessFactors solutions aligned with leading practices.
Own and drive solution design decisions across the Talent modules, ensuring consistency and integration across the broader SuccessFactors landscape.
Lead configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities for assigned Talent modules.
Partner with business stakeholders to design performance management processes, goal plans, forms, route maps, competencies, and calibration processes.
Lead Succession and Career Development design, including talent pools, succession nominations, career paths, development plans, mentoring, and talent review processes.
Lead Compensation design, including compensation worksheets, eligibility rules, guidelines, budgets, salary planning, bonus considerations, and approval workflows.
Identify dependencies and integration requirements with other SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, and People Analytics, as applicable.
Coordinate with integration, data, reporting, security, and technical teams to ensure an end-to-end solution.
Support data migration, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, and go-live readiness.
Provide guidance and oversight to functional consultants and other team members supporting the Talent workstream.
Proactively identify risks, issues, and design dependencies and drive them through resolution.
Develop and maintain functional design documentation, configuration workbooks, test scenarios, and other project deliverables.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and effectively communicate recommendations, risks, decisions, and project status.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on implementation experience with SAP SuccessFactors Talent Management.
Demonstrated expertise in:

Performance & Goals (PM/GM)
Succession Planning (SP)
Career Development Planning (CDP)
Compensation

Experience leading at least one end-to-end SuccessFactors implementation, preferably in a large or complex enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of Talent Management business processes and their relationship to the broader employee lifecycle.
Ability to independently lead requirements and design workshops with business and HR stakeholders.
Strong SuccessFactors configuration and solution design experience.
Experience with testing, defect management, cutover, and deployment activities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders in a fast-paced implementation environment.
Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate effectively as a functional lead while remaining hands-on when required.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP SuccessFactors certifications in one or more relevant Talent modules.
Experience implementing multiple SuccessFactors Talent modules as part of a full-suite SuccessFactors transformation.
Experience integrating Talent Management with Employee Central and other SuccessFactors modules.
Experience with global or multi-country implementations.
Experience leading or coordinating offshore/onshore functional teams.
Strong understanding of SuccessFactors implementation methodology and leading practices.
