Role Title: RTR Test Lead/Project Manager
Duration: 6 months initially but likely 12+ months
Preferred Location: Any but work MT zone hours
Role Description:
Our client is in the midst of a large, multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation consolidating multiple SAP environments into a single platform.
We are seeking an experienced SAP RTR Test Lead to support the Record-to-Report (RTR) workstream and provide day-to-day leadership and coordination across a complex testing effort.
This person will work closely with the RTR business and IT teams to ensure testing activities are properly planned, documented, loaded into Jira, executed and tracked through completion.
This is a hands-on testing leadership and coordination role rather than a traditional Project Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day testing activities across the SAP RTR workstream.
- Work directly with individual RTR leads to ensure required test scenarios and test scripts are identified and completed.
- Ensure test scripts are loaded into Jira accurately, appropriately grouped and ready according to the testing schedule.
- Track readiness of test scenarios and scripts across the various areas within RTR.
- Monitor execution and completion of testing throughout each testing cycle.
- Follow up with workstream leads on outstanding scripts, scenarios, defects and testing activities.
- Maintain visibility into testing progress, risks, dependencies and areas requiring attention.
- Help drive accountability across multiple business and IT stakeholders.
- Coordinate preparation for successive rounds of testing and future deployment waves.
- Support testing documentation and closeout activities following each cycle.
- Partner closely with the RTR business team, IT team and broader S/4HANA program.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience serving as a Test Lead on a large ERP or enterprise transformation.
- Experience managing complex testing efforts involving multiple workstreams, stakeholders, test scenarios and scripts.
- Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, defect tracking and testing governance.
- Experience using Jira or a comparable testing/work management platform.
- Ability to independently drive follow-up and accountability across business and IT teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a large, complex transformation environment with changing timelines and priorities.
