Role Description:
As the ServiceNow Integration Lead Developer, you will take ownership of designing and implementing a robust, bidirectional REST integration between ServiceNow and external systems. Your primary responsibility will be to architect and deliver seamless integrations, leveraging your expertise in ServiceNow development, IntegrationHub, and the App Engine. You will be expected to work independently, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring that integration patterns are optimized for performance and reliability. In this role, you will guide the development roadmap, making key decisions on integration architecture and best practices. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, ServiceNow integration patterns, and hands-on experience with ServiceNow’s integration tools will be essential. Exposure to Mules or similar middleware platforms will be highly advantageous, as it will allow you to bridge complex systems efficiently. Your ability to mentor team members, troubleshoot integration issues, and deliver high-quality solutions will be critical to the success of the project.

In this role, you will guide the development roadmap for ServiceNow Security Operations, making key decisions on architecture and best practices specifically for the SIR and VR modules. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, ServiceNow integration patterns, and hands-on experience with ServiceNow’s IntegrationHub and App Engine will be essential. You will advise the client on SIR/VR capabilities and platform guardrails, mentor team members, troubleshoot integration issues, and deliver high-quality solutions that improve security incident response and vulnerability remediation outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of SIR and VR solutions, including records, workflows, playbooks, data models, and automations.
- Architect integration solutions using IntegrationHub, App Engine, and Scripted REST to connect SIEM/EDR tools, vulnerability scanners, and threat intelligence feeds.
- Develop and implement integration patterns for event ingestion, enrichment, assignment, remediation, and notifications.
- Guide and mentor development teams on SecOps best practices, coding standards, and platform guardrails for SIR/VR.
- Independently deliver high-quality solutions from concept to deployment, including documentation and operational handoff.
- Collaborate with SOC, vulnerability management, and platform stakeholders to define and refine the SecOps roadmap and release plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SIR/VR issues efficiently across environments; drive root-cause analysis and performance optimization.
- Align solutions with CMDB/CSDM and security controls (roles, groups, ACLs); ensure data quality and traceability.
