RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to join their team in Sandy Springs, GA.
Summary:
The Quality Assurance Lead are responsible for leading end-to-end quality assurance activities across web, mobile applications, APIs, and enterprise platforms for assigned product portfolios. This role provides technical leadership to Quality Engineers while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases. This role is expected to be hands-on, capable of independently driving testing efforts, mentoring team members, identifying quality risks early, and ensuring predictable, high-quality deliveries.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Quality Engineering activities for assigned products across Web, Mobile (iOS & Android), APIs, and enterprise applications
* Own end-to-end test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation for sprint and production releases
* Create comprehensive test strategies and test plans covering functional, regression, integration, API, accessibility, and performance validation
* Coordinate testing activities across offshore and onshore QA engineers
* Review business requirements, technical designs, and user stories to identify gaps, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure testability
* Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, and release planning
* Collaborate closely with varying teams to resolve issues and improve software quality
* Perform risk assessments and communicate testing progress to project stakeholders
* Drive automation adoption
* Review automation coverage and ensure critical user journeys are incorporated
* Execute and validate API testing and analyze logs
* Support testing across integrated system
* Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production validation, and post-release verification
* Perform root cause analysis for production issues, partner with Engineering on corrections
REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead or Senior QA role
* Strong experience testing enterprise Web, Mobile (iOS & Android), API, and backend systems
* Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing methodologies
* Experience working with automation frameworks
* Strong API testing experience
* Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD delivery pipelines
* Experience using defect management and test management tools
* Strong understanding of SQL, data validation, and backend testing
* Experience with log analysis tools
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and release timelines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
