Overview:

At the core of every experience across BHN's ecosystem is Identity - how we know our users, build trust, and enable seamless interactions. We're looking for a Principal Product Manager, Identity to define and lead our company-wide identity strategy, establishing a unified layer that connects users across products and enables secure, scalable, and frictionless experiences.

You'll love this job if...
  • You want to own one of the most critical platforms at BHN - the identity layer that powers every user interaction across our ecosystem.
  • You're energized by shaping how millions of users onboard, authenticate, and engage across B2C, B2B, and partner experiences.
  • You thrive at the intersection of platform strategy, security, compliance, and user experience, and you want to build the scalable foundation that unlocks trusted, personalized experiences across all of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the end-to-end identity strategy across recipients, partners, and enterprise customers
  • Establish the Person model and unified identity layer across products and domains
  • Build a capability-driven platform for authentication, identity lifecycle, and consent management
  • Define what should be centralized vs. domain-owned, enabling teams while maintaining consistency
  • Partner with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Data, and GTM teams to align on identity strategy and execution
  • Lead cross-functional discussions to balance user experience, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Translate strategy into clear product requirements, user flows, and a prioritized roadmap
  • Drive execution across multiple teams, ensuring delivery of a cohesive identity platform
  • Own end-to-end identity experiences including onboarding, authentication, and lifecycle management
  • Define and track key metrics across conversion, drop-offs, and trust signals
  • Leverage industry trends and competitive landscape to evolve identity capabilities

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years of product management experience with strong exposure to platform or complex systems
  • Experience defining and scaling cross-product or shared services platforms
  • Strong understanding of identity, user lifecycle, and access models
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and drive clarity across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience leading end-to-end product strategy and execution across cross-functional teams
  • Expert in writing specs, use case flows, and stakeholder management
  • Proficiency with Scrum/Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or equivalent experience
  • Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated environments
  • Exposure to identity, fraud, or risk systems
  • Experience working with enterprise and partner ecosystems
  • Familiarity with modern authentication and identity patterns (e.g., OAuth, SAML, FIDO, decentralized identity)

We seek candidates who not only demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in emerging technologies but have also successfully implemented and utilized AI tools to enhance their work, improve processes, or deliver measurable results. Our teams embrace continuous learning and the thoughtful integration of AI to create meaningful impact - for our employees and the future of work.
