BSA & Delivery Lead – Credit Risk / Underwriting

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking a senior Business Systems Analyst & Delivery Lead with strong loan underwriting and credit risk experience to support enterprise credit platforms and risk initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with business, risk, and technology teams and ownership of end-to-end delivery. 

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a BSA / Delivery Lead

• Strong background working with banking and financial institutions

• Hands-on underwriting experience (Commercial / CRE / C&I preferred)

• Strong understanding of credit risk models, including:

  • PD Models (Probability of Default)

  • CD Models (Credit Deterioration)

• Experience with structured risk rating frameworks such as SCIELA
  (Scenario, Covenant, Industry, EBITDA, Leverage, Asset Coverage)

• Familiarity with Rare Risk Framework or equivalent risk methodologies

• Mandatory: Strong experience with Moody’s CreditLens, including product understanding and implementation 

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements

• Lead delivery activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

• Work closely with credit risk, underwriting, business, and technology teams

• Manage requirement changes, dependencies, and delivery risks

• Ensure solutions meet credit risk, regulatory, and data quality standards

Nice to Have

• Experience with Credit ADS, including Data ODS and reporting

• Experience with credit workflow automation (approvals, underwriting processes)

• Exposure to LSF migration, APIs, and system integrations

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent experience
