Operations & Process Procedure Documentation Specialist

Core Responsibilities

An Experienced Technical Writer/Operations & Process Developer to write accurate, clear, well-structured procedures for complex SAP functional processes. Collaborate with learning designers in development of engaging and effective instructional materials to support SAP learning and enablement. The role will translate complex SAP processes into Learning and performance support content for use in digital adoption and classroom instruction that uses the WalkMe platform.

Responsibilities include:

·       Document SAP Business Processes: Produce detailed documentation of SAP business processes, workflows, user actions, and system procedures.

·       Define Detailed User Functionality: Review available documentation, observe demos, interview SMEs, access and work in SAP PPS, capture screens, etc. to document step-by-step procedures along with key supporting information. These will be foundational to design and develop instructional solutions to meet business process designs requirements.

·       Develop Adoption Support Content and contribute to user WalkMe guided walkthru content aligned with learning objectives and audience needs.

·       Capture Screenshots: Incorporate screenshots, process diagrams, workflows and other visual elements to improve learning understanding

·       Plan and Perform User Scenarios for Demos and Practice Activities: Define and secure required data. Access test environment, create test data, and perform functions for capture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience:
• 5+ years in technical procedure analysis and documentation
• 5+ years of developing process flows
• 4+ years working with SAP applications

• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Visio, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with SAP and Public Sector Financials
• Proficiency in defining end-user procedures

• U.S. Citizenship required
