Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Angular Developer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade web applications using Angular and modern front-end technologies. The developer will work closely with product owners, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. This position will also lead front-end architecture discussions, contribute to coding standards, and guide best practices for performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade web applications using Angular
- Work closely with product owners, UX designers, business analysts, and backend engineering teams to deliver high quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
- Lead front-end architecture discussions, contribute to coding standards, review code from team members, and guide best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement, ensure application stability, and support the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment
- Mentor junior team members
Requirements: - 7+ years of professional front-end development experience with at least 4+ years specializing in Angular (v10+)
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), RxJS, and Angular CLI
- Deep knowledge of Angular architecture, including modules, services, components, routing, interceptors, and dependency injection
- Experience with reactive forms, change detection strategies, lazy loading, and performance optimization techniques
- Strong understanding of RESTful API integration, authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth2), error handling, and observables
- Experience building responsive UI using HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and component libraries such as Angular Material
- Strong understanding of state management techniques (NgRx, BehaviorSubject pattern, or similar concepts)
- Solid experience with unit testing and integration testing using Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress
- Expertise with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to analyze complex technical requirements, provide scalable solutions, and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams
Desired skills: - Experience with monorepo structures (Nx) or micro frontend architecture
- Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time app development
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and front-end deployment pipelines
- Experience with performance profiling tools and accessibility compliance (WCAG/ARIA)
- Understanding of UX principles and ability to collaborate closely with design teams
- Exposure to Docker or containerized front-end deployment workflows
- Experience mentoring developers, conducting training sessions, or contributing to architectural strategies
- Knowledge of security best practices for front-end applications (XSS prevention, CORS, CSP, etc.)
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
