Teamcenter Infrastructure architect - Independent Consultants only

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and optimize Teamcenter infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Teamcenter architecture, deployment strategies, infrastructure design, database management, storage solutions, and network/security architecture. The role involves ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing Teamcenter environments that support enterprise PLM operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect Teamcenter infrastructure environments for enterprise deployments.
• Define infrastructure strategies covering servers, databases, storage, networking, and security.
• Lead Teamcenter installation, deployment, upgrades, and environment planning activities.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, security, and application teams to support Teamcenter operations.
• Design and implement security controls, access management, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and reliability.
• Develop infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Teamcenter and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, deployment, and administration.
• Experience with infrastructure design, server architecture, and capacity planning.
• Strong understanding of database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with storage solutions, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Knowledge of network architecture, load balancing, security, and firewall configurations.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and container platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale Teamcenter implementations.
• Understanding of PLM environments and CAD integrations.
