Entry Level PE/Estimator - & Subcontractor Projects - $70,000-$85,000Your new company
Our client is currently seeking to hire a Project/Field Engineer who will have a career path in Estimating & Preconstruction.
Our partnership client is a smaller, Colorado focused who also act as a Subcontractor to larger ENR Firms.
You will be estimating on Projects acting as both the General Contractor and for opportunities operating as a Sub-contractor.
Great opportunity for someone already in the world, or with a subcontractor who wants to have a focus within the Estimating space.
Your new role
As you work towards becoming an Estimator, you will have exposure across a range of Commercial Projects - from Multi-Family, Tis, Retail, Single-Family & more, providing support to the local teams both in the Field & in the Office.
This includes-but is not limited to - aiding in the Planning & Design, Quality, Contractual Elements, and Stakeholder Management etc
It is a wide-ranging role that will require you to spin multiple plates - however, it will give you great end-to-end exposure of Cradle to Grave Projects that will greatly benefit you as you grow into a full Estimator and valued part of the Preconstruction Team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience in Commercial Construction - open to or Subcontractor background
- An Engineering/Construction related Degree, followed by 1 Year+ in construction
- Basic level understanding of Commercial Construction & Estimating (RFIs, Takeoffs, Pricing etc)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
