Manager Enterprise Architect

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Enterprise Architect to lead the Enterprise Architecture team and drive architecture strategy, governance, standards, and technology roadmaps across the organization. This role will work closely with senior business and technology leaders to support modernization, innovation, security, compliance, and long-term technology planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Enterprise Architects.
• Manage Enterprise Architecture governance, processes, standards, and operating models.
• Lead Architecture Review Board and other architecture governance forums.
• Partner with business and IT leadership on technology strategy and roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, principles, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• Oversee architecture reviews, decisions, exceptions, risks, and documentation.
• Manage application portfolio and technology lifecycle planning.
• Drive technology modernization, reuse of shared platforms, and reduction of technical debt.
• Manage EA tools, repositories, dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
• Work with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Data, Applications, Operations, Finance, and other teams.
• Support technology investment, budget, resource, and vendor planning.
• Represent Enterprise Architecture in executive and leadership meetings.
• Build and maintain an Architecture Community of Practice.

Required Qualifications

• 20+ years of IT experience.
• 15+ years of Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Technology Strategy, or Architecture Governance experience.
• 5+ years of people/team leadership or architecture practice management.
• Strong experience with Enterprise Architecture governance and cross-functional architecture reviews.
• Experience developing architecture standards, reference models, operating models, and technology roadmaps.
• Experience working with senior business and technology executives.
• Experience with EA tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, BiZZdesign, Sparx EA, Orbus, Apptio, ServiceNow APM, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.

Preferred

• TOGAF certification preferred.
• ITIL, SAFe, COBIT, PMP, or Prosci certification is a plus.
• Cloud or Cybersecurity certification is a plus.
• Experience in a regulated industry preferred.

Looking for a true Enterprise Architecture leader who has managed Enterprise Architects and owned EA governance/strategy.
